How it works

  1. Add your stops. Enter the starting point, then type each address and pick it from the suggestions, or paste a list with one address per line. Up to 25 stops.
  2. Optimize. Choose whether the route returns to the starting point and press “Optimize route”. The tool puts the stops in an efficient order and shows the total distance, the driving time and the route on the map.
  3. Drive. Open the route in Google Maps (long routes open in several parts), open the stops one by one in Waze, or copy the ordered list.

Frequently asked questions

Is the online route planner really free?

Yes. It is free, you do not need an account and there is nothing to install. It plans one route for one driver with up to 25 stops.

How many stops can I add?

Up to 25 stops plus the starting point. For longer routes, download the free Delivery Planner app: up to 50 stops per route.

Can the route end where it started?

Yes. Turn on the return to the starting point before you optimize. The total distance and driving time then include the way back.

Can I open the route in Google Maps or Waze?

Yes. Google Maps opens the route in parts, because it takes only a limited number of stops per route. Waze opens one stop at a time. You can also copy the ordered list.

Do you save my addresses?

No. The tool does not save your route or your address list, and there is no account. Details are in our Privacy Policy.

Can I plan routes for several drivers or vehicles?

Not with this tool: it plans one route for one driver. For fleets, City & Carrier offers a delivery management platform and the routeOptimizer API. Get a demo.
