What is City & Carrier?
City & Carrier is delivery software by B2B Trade OÜ (Tallinn, Estonia) for courier companies, postal operators, retailers and bus operators. It includes the smartDelivery platform, the routeOptimizer API, smartLocker, the routeXpander module and the free deliveryPlanner app for drivers. See all products.
Which product do I need?
Running the whole delivery process: smartDelivery. Route optimization inside your own ERP, CRM or TMS: routeOptimizer API. Parcel lockers under your brand: smartLocker. Parcels on scheduled bus lines: routeXpander. One driver planning a route: deliveryPlanner or the online routePlanner.
How much does it cost?
Prices are not published: business products are offered on individual terms that depend on volume and the modules you use. deliveryPlanner and the online routePlanner are free within their limits. Book a demo to get an offer.
Is there a free trial?
For smartDelivery, a trial is agreed individually. deliveryPlanner (up to 50 stops per route) and the online routePlanner (up to 100 stops, one route at a time) are free to use with their limits.
smartDelivery
What is smartDelivery?
smartDelivery is an all-in-one delivery management platform. Orders, couriers, PUDO points, warehouse staff and the logistics manager work in one system and see the same parcel status from order to delivery, with reporting and invoicing built in.
What does smartDelivery include?
A branded web portal and mobile app for clients, labels, CMR and POD documents, price lists per client or group, PUDO counters, cash on delivery, courier and warehouse mobile apps, and parcel tracking. The full list is on the features page.
What sets smartDelivery apart?
It covers the whole chain in one system, from the first mile and line haul to the last mile, so every participant sees the same picture. It is built for couriers and postal operators, and can be adapted to your processes.

routeOptimizer API
What is the routeOptimizer API?
A route optimization API for multi-vehicle fleets. You send stops and vehicles in one request and get back optimized routes: which vehicle visits which stop, in what order, with distance and duration.
Which constraints does it support?
Vehicle capacity, time windows, breaks, zones, pickup-and-delivery pairs and road restrictions such as closed segments, turn bans and speed changes in geofences. Multi-compartment vehicles are supported too.

smartLocker
What is smartLocker?
Parcel locker management software for courier companies and locker network operators. It runs lockers from different vendors on one platform under your own brand.
Can I use lockers I already have?
Yes. smartLocker connects lockers from different vendors, so you can keep your existing hardware.
How do customers collect parcels?
With a one-time code or the mobile app. Cash on delivery and recipient-pays options are available, and lockers keep working without an internet connection and sync later.
routeXpander
What is routeXpander?
A smartDelivery module for sending parcels over scheduled intercity bus lines. Bus operators earn from free luggage space; couriers reach distant and sparsely populated areas.
How are bus routes added?
Import them in GTFS format or enter them manually. For each shipment, routeXpander shows the available connections with departure and delivery times and transfer points.
Do we need hardware or licences?
No. routeXpander is a hosted and managed solution.
deliveryPlanner and the online routePlanner
Is there a free route planner for drivers?
Yes. deliveryPlanner is a free app for iPhone and Android: up to 50 stops per route and unlimited routes (fair use).
Can I plan a route without installing an app?
Yes. The online routePlanner plans one route of up to 100 stops in the browser, with no account.
Which navigation apps work with deliveryPlanner?
Google Maps, Waze, Yandex and HERE WeGo. The app also works without mobile coverage.
Integrations
Which integrations are ready?
Cargoson (transport management), Directo (business software), Montonio (payments), Messente (SMS), Regio (geodata), AYNA e-qaimə (electronic waybills in Azerbaijan) and the Estonian e-Business Register (RIK). See integrations.
Can I connect another system?
Yes. The API connects City & Carrier to your ERP, CRM, warehouse or other software, or you can request a new integration.
Implementation and data
How long does implementation take?
From one to six months, depending on the complexity of your processes and integrations.
Where is our data stored?
In three data centres in the European Union.
